It’s amazing what you can find on the Internet! As part of the process to save the old Yahoo Geocities’ content my own little site was saved. Here is what my page looked like in Dec, 2001.

My First Blog

I’m going to create a series of posts over the next few days which will show the original content from this old site. Thankfully I should still have the photos of which some seem to have been lost in the archiving process. I’m looking forward to reliving some old memories, although after seeing some of my old fashion choices I’m not too sure how some people will react!

I started to write updates on my life on the web way back in 2001 when I was living in Ireland. My family lives in Australia, so it was a good way for me to keep in touch by giving my family and friends an insight to my new life in Dublin through words and photos.

The original website was on Yahoo’s Geocities platform which has since ceased to exist. I did grab some content from that site and would like to put those original posts up here so that I can have a record of my very intermittent blogging history!

I also have another site which I started to put up posts about my hi-fi, home theatre and computing musings. I’ll be combining that content on this new blog too.

Hopefully the posts on this site will be more frequent than on my previous attempts!
